Evaporation Dishes
Evaporate pervasive substances (solvents, supernatants, etc.) reliably and reproducibly using XRF Scientific evaporation dishes. Our extensive range of labware is based on high-purity platinum compounds, offering outstanding resistance to aggressive chemical processes and high temperatures. As a result, our evaporation dishes outstrip borosilicate glass and porcelain watch glasses for the most challenging concentration processes.
Platinum Alloy Evaporation Dishes
Pure platinum and select alloys provide the highest levels of performance for analytical and preparative evaporation processes. At XRF Scientific, we supply evaporation dishes based on both pure platinum and four high-performance alloys:
• Platinum gold alloy (PtAu), with 5% gold.
• Platinum rhodium alloy (PtRh), with 3% rhodium.
• Platinum rhodium alloy, with 10% rhodium.
• Platinum iridium (PtIr), with 10% iridium.
All incoming alloying materials are screened to ensure absolute purity prior to production. This allows our engineers to engineer the perfect analytical surface with your choice of composition and geometry. Each evaporation dish, from small to large capacity (55 – 150cc) designs, is formed from a seamless, singular workpiece with the utmost care and precision. This eliminates structural weak spots to guarantee reproducible performance for multiple working cycles. Consult the sizing chart below to find an evaporation dish that meets your requirements.
