Precious metal sheet is rolled down from ingots that are cast, forged a using a variety of melting techniques. Vacuum cast steel rolls are employed that are regularly re-ground to ensure flatness and a consistent surface finish.
Thickness: 0.001 in. minimum.
Width: 15 in. maximum.
Metals: Platinum, gold, silver, palladium, iridium and various alloys containing these metals.
Purity: Up to 99.99%.
Platinum: Medical devices, electronics, catalysts and hydrogen diffusion.
Gold: Medical devices, dentistry, electronics, architecture, decorative applications and jewelry.
Palladium: Hydrogen diffusion, medical devices, ceramic capacitors and catalysts.
Silver: Battery manufacturing, jewelry, decorative applications and the protection of sensitive equipment.
Iridium: Crystal growth application.
